5th and University (2023) is an early exploration into urban landscapes, architecture, and abstract form. Created during a stint working in downtown Seattle from 2021-2024, I would leave my corporate office and search for light through the highrises of the city. This particular piece highlights the form of 1200 5th Ave and its interaction with the ambient light of the late afternoon.
