My Cameras

My ever-changing list of cameras. Interested in one? Click the links to support my creative endeavors!

Leica M3

This camera changed the way I shoot forever. I’m going to be buried with this camera. Small, ultra sharp, classic body style, and a true piece of history. Used by many of the greats, and for good reason.

Fujifilm GFX 50R

Because of this camera, I sold all of my medium format film cameras. The Rangefinder body style is incredible, and makes shooting this camera truly fun. And man, do these files pack a punch. If you need print quality on every photo, this is a good option at a pretty solid price.

Sony ZV1

My go-to pocket camera for photo and video. Smaller than the palm of my hand (and I have small hands). Shoots 4k, good photo quality, and a built-in 24-70mm 1.8 lens? Say less!

Olympus XA

Wow. Who knew such a tiny camera could take such incredibly sharp images. This camera has allowed me to carry a camera with me every day and take photos of moments I would otherwise miss. You can use it for landscapes, portraits, quick flash snapshots, street photography, or literally anything.

Nimslo 3D

The party camera. Lot of fun to use, though I don’t use it often. The only 3D camera I’d recommend anyone because it actually has metal and glass (unlike all of the others).

Minolta SR-7

Passed down from my grandfather, a great basic mechanical SLR. Paired with either the 58mm 1.4 or 35mm 2.8, you can’t go wrong.

My Favorite Gear/Accessories

Things that have made shooting easier or more enjoyable.

Long Weekend Santa Fe Shoulder Bag

This bag has made life so much easier. Perfect for on set or for going on walks, this lets me carry a camera, some film, a book, journal, whatever I need. I never thought I’d love it as much as I do.

Long Weekend Beacon Tote

Like the shoulder bag, this is an amazing addition for work or leisure. I bring this with me to coffee shops when I need a laptop (it fits my 16” Macbook Pro). Also leaves room for books, camera gear, pens, film, anything you could need and more.

Moment Cinebloom Filters

Originally, I was a Tiffen Promist guy. Then Moment decided to send me some of these (I’m not being paid to say this by the way) and I gave them a try. It’s super nice having the different percentages at such an affordable price relative to the Promist filters. They help you get just enough texture in your shots that it helps liven up any scene.

My Favorite Film Stocks

For those looking to start in film or experiment with new looks.

Kodak Portra 400

The gold standard of film, and it is priced accordingly. You can shoot Portra in any situation and 9/10 times it’ll outperform its competitors.

Cinestill 800T

Cinestill 800T is to the film community as hypebeast streetwear is to fashion. Expensive, flashy, with its red logo it could probably take the place of Supreme in the community. Shoot this at night and you’ll really see it shine.

Kodak Portra 400 VC

My personal favorite, currently. The older and discontinued sibling of modern Portra, the VC stands for “Vivid Color” which it lives up to. Not to be confused with NC, it’s other less radical sibling that boasts “Natural Color”.
